Leave Blank otherwise.6Password : The Password you use for this BBS system.GFrom Main : Command entered from Main Menu. Most WC systems use 'M' to@ : select the Message Menu. Modem Help FThe Modem installation box allows you to give detailed information forKyour modem. All information should be filled in properly. At first start-upJdefaults will be inserted for you. In most cases, these should be correct.
DPort : The serial communications port your modem is connected to.DAddress : The Address of your COM port. Consult Docs for Discussion.IIRQ : The IRQ setting for your COM Port. Consult Docs for Discussion.JBaud : Baud Rate to initialize your modem. Set this to modems max rate.=Data : Communications Data Bits setting. Usually set to 8.HStop : The number of Stop Bits. Usually set to 1, for most instances.BParity : Initial modem parity. This is noramlly set to -N- (None):Reset : The string your modem accepts to reset defaults.<DialPrfx: The string sent to your modem to initiate dialing.KInit : The initialization string to send to your modem. Check Modem Docs@HangUp : The string your modem accepts to Hang Up the receiver.DRedial : The number of Redial attempts, if a called number is busy.IDialWait: This is the number of seconds to wait for either a connection, F or no answer - similar, in nature, to a ring-count. 999 max.DCallWait: The characters your phone uses to disable Call Waiting (If; applicable). Leave Blank, if this does not apply.
